PHOTOGRAPHY + TRAVEL

We Visited Our Property at Camaya
My family on a trip to Bataan, Philippines to visit our property at Camaya. This is my first time coming there and I want to check out if some areas of the Camaya Coast is now developed.

Wandering Around Quiapo, Manila
This is before our wedding. During this time, I'm waiting for my fiancé (now my wife) to have her Sacrament of Confirmation in Quiapo Church and I have nothing else to do so I roamed some of the streets around Quiapo, Manila.

After sorting our Boracay honeymoon/vacation photos, and there's so many of them, I can finally share some of them in this blog. Sadly there are some photos that are blurry and have poor quality. I selected the better ones to upload.

We went to Torres Farm to take our pre-nuptial photos and video. The place looks nice but we only have a short but busy stay here so there are only few photos uploaded for this post.

We just got home from work and we're hungry so we went outside to find some local street food. There are so many street food to choose from and the photos uploaded in this post are the ones we bought to eat as dinner and snack.

We went to La Union, Philippines for a quick tour, sightseeing and vacation. The beach there have waves awesome enough for surfing so I was excited to go there, I always wanted to try surfing. It's kinda rare for us to travel north.

We went to Batangas, Philippines to check out the Caleruega Church, A place close to God and nature.

Here's another post related to our previous vacation. This post is only focused on our stay at Dinagat Island located at Mindanao, Philippines. I posted more photos taken by my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Here's some more pictures from our Leyte vacation. All photos here are taken using my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
We went on a vacation, finally after these lockdowns. So we went on my girlfriend's hometown at Leyte, Philippines because we, especially me who haven't traveled far for two years, desperately need a vacation to get away from stressful stuff.

I'm having fun using Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G's cameras. I took some moon photos to test the phone's Space Zoom feature.

Last year I bought a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G smartphone. The phone is really good because it's Samsung's 2021 flagship phone. It got all the high specs and I'm happy that the phone performs really well. What made me buy the phone is its looks, simple yet elegant and its camera's capacity to zoom so far that I thought only professional lens and cameras can do. I tried the S21 Ultra's cameras and took some zoomed photos.

First out of town trip of the year! We went to Padre Pio Shrine at Batangas, Philippines to attend a mass there and for our wishes and thanksgivings.

It's a very busy December but here's a quick photography blog. The subject this time are tiny creatures like bugs and crawlers. I forgot that I shot these photos, good thing that I checked my old phone and laptop to retrieve them.

I randomly take pictures of house pets like cats and dogs. I like animals but don't have a pet. I pet stray cats and somebody else's dogs LOL.

This is a little random. I saw a lot of food on the table so I quickly grabbed my DSLR and played with it and its settings and this is what I did. Wanna see how some food looks up close? You're in a right place!
The lockdown here in the Philippines has eased out a bit. We can now travel far but with some limitations (checkpoints are still present). So for our first long trip in months, we went to the Cavite Gardens, located obviously at Cavite (along Aguinaldo Highway) to buy some gardening related stuff. I brought my Canon 7D and took some pictures.
We went to Baguio for a vacation. We planned this trip so that we can unwind and have some fun time after working and meeting quotas. We stayed for 3 days and those 3 days are not enough to cover all Baguio's tourist spots. Baguio City is a part of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in the Philippines and is know as its "Summer Capital". Well, I prefer to go there during the cold season because I'm not a fan of heat.
I had a lot of day offs because I haven't been spending my leaves at work because I didn't know that I have leaves, stupid me. So I spent my day off at Makati City, Philippines. I dropped off my pregnant sister and her husband at the hospital there for a pre-natal check-up. While waiting for her check-up to be finished I went for a long walk and took some photos while going to my target destination. So... hurray, more photos!
I went out to go buy some stuff at the mall, but the rain came and it's heavy, it's like going out while there's a storm.

I just looked up in the night sky while riding a bike then I saw something strange, why is the moon turning red? That's when I realized that it's a total lunar eclipse. I haven't watched the news this morning that's why I don't know that a lunar eclipse is going to happen tonight.

We went to Tagaytay, Philippines. So here are some photos taken from my DSLR and smartphone. It was sunny when we went there but the wind is so cold the sun didn't bother me, except for my vision (forgot to bring my aviator shades).

Panorama Photos
I got 2 photos to show. They're manually made smartphone panorama photos (because the built-in panorama feature have low quality photo) taken during Holy Week last month. I know it's late, I have lots of stuff to do and I always end up tired so I went straight to my bed to sleep, forgetting about posting some photos, upload art, etc..

It's nice to go out of town. Last week, we had a family outing at our relative's place at Tanauan, Batangas Philippines. Once I've heard that the place is lakeside (Taal Lake), I brought my DSLR (Canon 450D) hoping to get some really nice photos near the lake.
Got some photos to show today, unfortunately few of them survived the freak deletion accident. They are not edited, just shrunk the photos to make them internet-friendly. That intro photo up there is a hint on what is (probably) my next Play Arts Kai figure review.

Skate Stills
I've been filming skate videos recently and since I'm having trouble rendering our HD skate video because of my outdated PC, I decided to capture some skate stills and semi edit them except for one still.

Finally we got an alternative solution to our fish-eye lens needs. We bought the lens adapter for a good price since the real fish-eye lens costs more than the actual DSLR. I'm so excited that I didn't go straight home and did some testing (photo and video) to our local skate spot.
Black and white photos of my fellow skaters and riders. Should I call this "emotive portraits" or what? Whatever, all that's important that these photos look great lol.
