We Visited Our Property at Camaya

My family on a trip to Bataan, Philippines to visit our property at Camaya. This is my first time coming there and I want to check out if some areas of the Camaya Coast is now developed.

It's still dark when we left our home at around 4:00 to 5:00 PM and we went to Esplanade Seaside Terminal.

While waiting for our ferry boat to arrive we went outside the terminal to sea the view from the docks.

The sun is rising. I think we waited for 2 hours for the boat to arrive.

We arrived at Bataan coast at around 8:00 AM. Sorry I don't have some photos while riding the boat on the way to the coast. I got seasick because of the huge waves. The boat is rising up and going down like crazy. The weather by the way is cloudy with some rains and strong winds. Note to self: don't sit at the front of the boat if the sea is wavy, the up and down elevation there is more erratic than at the back or center. We rode a tour bus from here to Camaya.

After a short bus ride, we arrived at Camaya's beach area. It's now developed with some nice roads, restaurants and souvenir shops. We planned to stay here overnight but the hotel is under renovation and the other hotel, which is smaller, have no vacancy. Too bad we brought our spare clothes and swimwear.

So we waited on our service van to take a tour around Camaya's large area. Our property is located far from the sea and it's on a higher ground.

Some of the areas are not yet developed but there are few houses already built here.

This area is getting developed really fast. It's a nice view from here on top of a hill.

I can see the golf course and some few houses and buildings.

There's also a small water park here. It's near the small hotel. We haven't got the chance to check it out closer because it became very sunny and hot.

We are nearing our property. The view here is nice. The photo above have that Windows XP wallpaper vibe.

We arrived near our property. Which is not yet accessible because it's not yet developed. No concrete roads there and way is very rocky and muddy. Probably it rained before we arrive there.

So we went on a nearby watch tower to check out the area. Nice view. I wish to build a house here. But we have other priorities. So the property remains an investment.

While going back to the beach, we saw this Camaya Coast logo. We took a picture here and we continue on our way back.

We arrived again on the beach. We ate our lunch at Yellow Cab. After eating lunch we went out to see the beach. I want to swim but we have no place to stay there at the time so we only took some pictures.

We walked around more and I saw this electronic drum kit. I'm a drummer and I'm tempted to try the kit. Probably there will be a band performance here at night. But we're planning to go home around noon.

So we waited for our bus on the way back to the dock. I noticed that there are a lot of black cats here, yeah like a family of black cats and kittens roaming around the beach.

The bus finally arrived and we got back on the docks and now we're on the way back to Manila. The weather is cloudy but the winds are calmer this time and we're seated at the center back of the ferry boat where the shakiness is minimal. It's a more comfortable 1 hour boat ride, so comfortable that I slept through the journey.

We arrived at Manila around 5:00 PM and we booked a ride back to our home. It was a nice trip, minus the seasickness at the start. Too bad the hotel is fully booked good thing that we have the option to go home and we just brought our swimwear and extra clothes as backup just in case we got to stay there overnight. Maybe next time, hopefully we book early so that we can enjoy our stay there.

Cheers!
