Final Fantasy XI Bring Arts Action Figure Lady Shantotto and Chocobo Official Photos and Price

Square-Enix is increasing their Bring Arts action figure portfolio and the latest title to be added is Final Fantasy XI. The first two figures announced are Lady Shantotto and a Chocobo.

Let's talk about Shantotto first. She is a Tarutaru, a race of small people. Tarutaru is one of the races the player can choose in this Final Fantasy XI MMORPG. FFXI is the only FF game I haven't played yet.  The game Dissidia Final Fantasy introduced me to this character.

The Shantotto figure looks really good and accurate to the character's in-game model.

I guess Square-Enix finally figured out the articulations for smaller and round-ish characters. The articulations of this figure looks really clean. So can I wish for an actual Nanamo FFXIV Play Arts Kai now?

Shantotto comes with a Chocobo. She can ride this Chocobo. I'm guessing the rest of the Bring Arts figures can ride this Chocobo. That's why SQEX made a separate solo Chocobo figure for sale along with the Shantotto/Chocobo two-pack.

The Chocobo looks really good, highly detailed and it looks cute.

The Chocobo can sit lower too! The articulations looks great and some blends well (kinda hidden) with the toy's design. So again, can I wish for a Chocobo Play Arts Kai figure now?

Here's Shantotto riding her Chocobo. They both look cute.

It's nice that Shantotto's staff can be mounted at her back. The mount uses a transparent plastic to simulate the way the players mount their weapons at their back without any sheaths (They're invisible floating weapon mounts).

The Shantotto/Chocobo two-pack comes with standard accessories for both figures. Shantotto got her staff, and alternative face (or head) with a smiling expression and a total of six extra hands. The Chocobo comes with a saddle and a handlebar for riders to hold to. Both figures have their own display stand.

The Shantotto/Chocobo two-pack price is $157.99 (approx. Php7,650.00) and their release date is around May 2021.

The solo Chocobo figure's price is $125.99 (approx. Php.6,100.00) and its release date is around May 2021. That's really pricey and it's Play Arts Kai's price range!

I guess getting the two-pack is a sweet deal because if you do the math, a solo Shantotto figure costs around $33.00 (approx. Php.1,550.00). While it's nice to see a Chocobo made into a cool action figure. I will pass on this one. If you have the money then by all means, get this bundle. I recommend it.

Cheers and Happy Collecting!
