Square-Enix didn't stop after making NieR: Automata's 2B a Play Arts Kai action figure. They also made 9S too and here's some of its official photos, price and release date.
This is the Play Arts Kai action figure of 9S. It looks really good.
It's nice that Square-Enix made another NieR character. I don't want the NieR: Automata PAK series to be another one-off with just 2B on the roster.
9S looks highly poseable. I'm having doubts on the new elbow joints. They might look good or not.
9S comes with very few accessories. He only got his sword and a hacking effect. He also got two pairs of interchangeable hands. Why so few? Because this is just the standard version of PAK 9S.
Yes, like 2B, 9S also have a DX version, we'll talk about that later. The price of the standard version Play Arts Kai 9S is $157.99 (approx Php.7,650.00) and might be 10% cheaper depending on the store. I recommend this action figure especially if you want 2B to have a companion in your collection. If you have more cash to spare then go for the DX version that have lots more accessories and interchangeable parts.
