Geeked Out Fest Event

I didn't attend this year's Toy Con event, a bit of a bummer. Days later, to my surprise, a local mall hosted a mini event with everything anime, games, toys and stuff. So, YAY! I got something to post!

The Geeked Out Fest is sponsored by SM City Sucat together with SuperCon Ph.

This event, according to the staff and suppliers that I asked there, it lasts for a week. The mini event will end on Sunday, June 22, 2026.

This is just a plain, straight forward mini toy and anime bazaar. No cosplay events, concerts, fan meet and other grand stuff here.

Let's take a look around. So many toys and figures to choose from! And some of the toys for sale here are cheap.

Most toys for sale are static figure and SD (or chibi) figures. I didn't find any figma here (or maybe they're there but very few). I found some SH figuarts, Nendoroids and Jada action figures.

Here's the view from above. Some stalls sell NBA, Pokemon and other trading cards. I lost interest in trading cards after I lost my NBA collections (with some Jordan cards) and sold my 4 Charizards for a cheap price (note that I sold it when Pokemon TCG is just a new card game). Well that's enough sad innocent youth story.

I'm started to gain interest again on static figures. I recently reviewed some static figures earlier this year.

One thing I noticed on these stalls are there are lots of One Piece figures. Proof that it's a really popular series and it's a generational one (like Dragon Ball). My sister and brother in law started watching One Piece I think decades ago and now they're watching it together with their kids.

These are some chibi figures. They're cheap and I saw some that piques my interest and almost made me buy some.

Wow that's alot of toys, there are some from Mario, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, One Piece, Marvel and of course, Slam Dunk.

Oh yes, There are Transformer action figures too and some that are for sale are rare.

This is the only stall that I checked thouroughly. I don't know probablu because the toys are displayed nice and organized.

Oh what do you know, this stall sells NIKKE Noodle Stoppers! NIKKE is currently my main gacha game (started day one) and I really want to collect these noodle stopper figures, especially that Cinderella and Maid Privaty figure. but I will hold my money because the money that I currently have will go to my cymbal set.

That's about my short visit on the Geeked Out Fest event. It's Fathers Day tomorrow and I'm hoping that I will receive a NIKKE figure gift. Well I'm not getting my hopes up, LOL! I hope the local mall host more of these kind of events in the future. Hopefully a bigger event next time.
