Celebrating Fathers Day at Agave Mexican Cantina

It's Fathers Day! It's my second time celebrating it. So my wife treated me to Agave Mexican Cantina at Parqal.

I wanted to eat at Dickey's Barbecue Pit but there are so many people in the line just to enter the restaurant.

So we went around Parqal to search for another restaurant and we found Agave Mexican Cantina. We crossed the street to reach the place. Don't worry it's not that far.

The place is packed with families celebrating Fathers Day. Luckily we found a nice spot with couch seats.

The place have a bar island. I imagine this spot really packed during the night with men and ladies having a nice drink.

Here's the menu. The selection is really appetizing!

We ordered Paella. It's a rice dish with mixed vegetables, meat and shrimp. I didn't eat some of this because I'm allergic to seafood.

My wife ordered Texas Barbecue Sandwich. The sandwich is huge and delicious and have onion rings as side dish the barbecue sauce have a bit of spiciness in it, it's really good.

We ordered Mexican Style Pork Sisig. It's Filipino pork sisig with Mexican flavor. I expected it to be really hot and spicy, but it's not. Which is good because my mother can try it. It tastes really delicious I can tell the Mexican touch in the dish.

I personally ordered this Mexican red rice to pair it with the sisig dish. I really like this rice. A bit heavy but I can handle it.

After finishing eating our late lunch at Agave, we went out for a stroll, because our baby daughter can walk now and really like to go down from my arms and practice her new walking and running skills. We can't wait to return here again and try the other food on their menu. I really wanted to try their Nacho Burger. Oh they also have 6 Lunch Special during weekdays and they also have Taco Tuesdays (buy one take one tacos).

Cheers!
