[Toy Review] MARCELINE AND LUNATIC AMP - LEGO Dimensions Fun Pack

I picked up another small LEGO set and it's Adventure Time's Marceline - the Vampire Queen, and her Lunatic Amp. This is a LEGO Dimensions Fun Pack and you'll only get these Adventure Time characters in real minifig form exclusively for that game.

PACKAGING

The packaging show's Marceline playing her guitar and the rest of the design is the same. I still don't like the shape of the box because it's not storage friendly, it would be nice if it's a rectangular box just like most of the LEGO boxes. The fact that you can hang this on the wall is nice though. The back shows the other two possible builds for the Lunatic Amp.

THE MINIFIGURE

Well, the minifigure looks like Marceline. Adventure Time characters looks really good in LEGO minifigure form because of their simple character designs.

The body print uses only flat colors and it looks nice. The default face is just Marceline smiling.

The alternate face print show's Marceline looking really angry and showing her fangs. The back has a nice print too and the legs are dual-molded.

ACCESSORIES

Marceline got her Axe Bass Guitar. You need to build this accessory. The guitar is made up of two axe blade pieces for the body part, a rod piece for the neck part, a "funnel" piece for the guitar head part and a gray circle single stud (hole) piece.

The guitar looks nice, but I prefer that LEGO should made her actual Axe Bass.

Marcy's NFC Base

Marceline's NFC base, have prints that resembles some parts of her guitar, it looks good. The blank NFC base for the build shares the same color as the minifig base but without any prints.

THE  BUILD

The main build is the Lunatic Amp, which is a ridable build in LEGO Dimensions. The actual build looks really cool with those different sized amps with pyrotechnics at the back and it got legs!

The minifigure can actually ride this build but it's kinda difficult to make the minifig stay on top of the build while holding her guitar.

The Lunatic Amp have two alternate builds, both looks awesome too: Shadow Scorpion and Heavy Metal Monster.

CONCLUSION

This Fun Pack that contains this Marceline minifig is one of those cool LEGO exclusives because you can't get this on any LEGO set except in LEGO Dimensions (I just wish they make the actual Adventure Time sets and not like those that I saw from LEGO Ideas). This one is highly sought after because of that and I had a hard time tracking this one down but I'm lucky to get this one cheap. There are issues on this Marceline fun pack, I heard that the NFC base for the character doesn't register on the scanner, I think it's a bug that needs to get patched out for those who play the game, but I don't care much about that because I just want to get the minifigs that I like. Now I'm currently tracking down Finn and Jake.
