Square-Enix once again blindsided me with their new Play Arts Kai action figure announcement. They revealed a Variant PAK of X-Men's Cyclops!

The design of this variant Cyclops is consistent with Hitoshi Kondo's variant design of Marvel (and DC) characters. This look of Cyclops looks closer to Jim Lee's design with Cyclops hair being visible.

| Optic Blast! |
Cyclops' suit looks more rubbery. I mean it's more protective padding all around his suit with few armored parts. I don't like the visor part because it's covering Cyclops' nose but overall, I like the figure's look.
Cyclops doesn't have any weaponry, he just like to spam Optic Blasts. So he got a nice interchangeable face sculpt that looks angry. He also got the Optic Blast effect. For hands, he got two pairs of pointing finger hands for the Optic Blast, pair of open hands and fists.
You can pre-order this action figure now and it costs around 15,984 Yen ($145 and Php.7,500). I will be skipping on this one, even though I'm a fan of Cyclops during the 90's cartoon, before switching to Gambit. If you're a fan of Marvel characters, especially Cyclops, then pre-order this guy.
