I mentioned in my previous blog update that I will show you guys my temporary work setup that I will use for 9 months to, I estimate, a year.
Good news is that if I have some more time to work on my blog, like my wife is sleeping, then I can go upstairs to use my PC. Still, the sleep duration of my wife varies from a very short nap to a long deep sleep.
Anyway, here's my mini setup. It takes up a small space in our living room. It's right next to our temporary bedroom, so I can hear my wife whenever she calls me.
This is my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. To me, this affordable tablet really does its job. This tab is featured here in my blog and did an unboxing video on YouTube. I installed some productivity apps like, Photopea (a web app shortcut) which is a really great photo editing app, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Rush (video editing app).
These are my other stuff. The generic wireless keyboard and mouse are for our smart TV. Sometimes, I also use the mouse on the tablet. The PS5 DualSense controller is there in case that I want to play some games on the console or do some remote play on the tablet. The portable drive cotains all my Photoshop templates and my backed up files.
This is my Canon 7D DSLR. This is the first version. It's not flexible like the Mk.II because this older 7D is not compatible to the Canon camera app for android. So I take photos on this camera then transfer the photos later to the tablet using a USB cable, just like the old days.
I also displayed three Play Arts Kai action figures (Tifa, Kainé and 2B) on my mini setup to give the small space some personality.
This is where I will be doing my toy photography for the review. This is my late father's office space by the garage. This is where I did my tablet's unboxing video. The table is more spacious than my object photography table upstairs. The photography setup is a little simple. I used my Tifa PAK figure to see how my photography area will look like. The power socket is far from the table so no lighting. That's why I will take toy photos in the morning until I get a really long extension cable to power my lamps.
So that's my temporary work setup. This will make me more productive while I have some spare time.
Cheers!
