ToyCon Philippines 2019! I'm here again (this time with someone) and I will cover the usual stuff I've been covering in this event: toys and stuff. I've been attending on this event for 3 years now. Time sure flies fast. Anyway, this is PART 0 of my multi-part ToyCon PH 2019 coverage.
ToyCon PH 2019 Poplife Fan Xperience is being held at SMX Convention Center at SM Mall of Asia, Philippines. They have a special guest artist, Ron English that made the smiley with a skull inside art featured in the event's promo materials.
We arrived at around 10:00 AM to beat the line. But well, look at the picture. The line is already super long. This line by the way is the line to buy tickets, this is the line to get the "event bands" so that you can enter. You can easily buy tickets online and the ticket line at the venue is really short and fast.
We already got out tickets, time to join the long line. We only attended for one day (2nd day of the 3-day event).
Judging on the line of people, this is probably the largest ToyCon event so far. Because last year, I easily entered the venue without going in this kind of long line. I also expected there are to be less people than last year because rainy season is almost here and the rain is getting stronger and longer every day.
Oh look! The Jedi and Sith group are descending from above... well the 2nd floor of the SMX Convention Center. More on them later... kinda. We're still on the line while taking this picture.
Yay! We got our "event bands"! After waiting in line for almost an hour or more, now we can enter the event!
This concludes Part 0 of my multi-part ToyCon PH 2019 event coverage. This is just an extra prologue post that's just about us waiting in line to go in LOL!
