I'm surprised! SQEX made a Final Fantasy VII Remake Play Arts Kai action figure of Aerith in her red dress. I got the figure's official photos, so let's take a look.
We all know that SQEX is cashing in the FFVII Remake but I never expected that they will make this version of Aerith as a PAK action figure. By the way this is one of the three dresses that Aerith will wear in the Wall Market/Don Corneo part of the game, depending on your choice as a player. This dress is the best of the three.
She's got a very pretty face and her dress looks nice but this is a long dress, this limits the leg's movement. Well in this figure, the right leg's movement is limited.
This Aerith in a red dress figure shows more skin but the articulations ruins the look of the arms. They should not have included the bicep swivel. It makes the arms look weird.
The lack of accessories is a letdown, a deal breaker to some PAK collectors. She only got three extra hands and one extra interchangeable faceplate. Her smiling face when viewed in front looks kinda weird to me. I've read on some of the comments about this figure saying that this figure needs a foldable chair. Luckily, I have some of them laying around and used one for my Aerith review. Anyway, if you have an Aerith remake figure then you can just use its gripping hands and weapon for this dressed version.
This figure of FFVII Remake Aerith (red dress) action figure costs around $115.00 to $155.00 (approx. Php.6,000.00 to Php.8,000.00). Really pricey for a figure that have very few accessories. Will I buy it? I don't know... probably if they make a dressed version of Tifa. I prefer either her Mature dress (blue dress) or the Exotic dress (short kimono dress). Anyway, this figure is for those whose aiming to complete the FFVII Remake PAK series.
