[Random] Cheapskate Ways On How To Save Some Money

We spend money to pay for bills/rent/hospital/medical/tuition fees, buy medicine/food and to buy important and/or worthless stuff. So it's important to save money. And I got some easy and "cheap" ways to earn some cash that I want to share with you guys with no other techniques or gimmicks (like those charts and methods stuff) required.

If your workplace is near your home, walk
When going to or coming home from work, walk or jog if your work nearby your place. You can also ride a bike or skate. Not only you will get fit and less fat, but you will also be contributing to a less polluted environment.

Hitch a ride with a friend to go to work
Have a friend with a car that goes along the way to near your (can-be-far-away) workplace? Then hitch a ride with that friend and you'll save some of your commute money. Do this also when going home. Remember, this doesn't work all the time, because your friend has his/her own life.

Don't eat at any restaurants, prepare a packed meal/snack instead
Restaurant and fastfood chains have kinda pricey food and most of them are unhealthy. So go to a nearby grocery store (while skating!) and buy a week supply of any healthy foods like wheat breads, some eggs, vegetables, fruits and some protein (ham, beef, chicken or fish) and prepare your own grub. Do this every week. Trust me, it's cheaper than eating to any restaurants.

Always leave some money/change at home
So you have some (more) money left today. Good job friend! Now go save them. Put them in your piggy bank. If it's plenty enough, deposit them in the bank (banks give interests, meaning your money will grow there in time). Don't spend and drain them empty unless it's an emergency or it's time to spend them (to pay bills or probably just to reward yourself).

That's my cheapskate way to save money. Does this help make you a bit richer?
