Square-Enix revealed a new Play Arts Shin action figure and it's Fran from Final Fantasy XII! Here are some of the official photos and its price. Also here's my initial thoughts on this figure.
Play Arts Shin is an upgraded Play Arts Kai. Well it's an upgrade in the looks department. Because this new Fran figure looks better than the PAK version that I have.
Fran's face looks better but still can't capture that in-game and cinematic look. I don't know maybe because of the figure's lighting in the official photos? Anyway the eyes can look around.
Aside from the face and the newer arm double-hinge joints, the PAS figure of Fran looks similar to the PAK version. Maybe this one is more poseable probably because of some hidden articulations around the figure.
The PAS action figure of Fran have more accessories this time. The bow and arrow is included with an additional Betegeuse gun from Balthier. For interchangeable accessories, this figure got an alternative face and a total of eight interchangeable hands. Now that's an upgrade! By the way, the small black accessory there is what I think is the eyeball adjuster.
The Play Arts Shin action figure of Fran costs around $210.00 to $325.00 (approx. Php. 12,400.00 to Php. 19,200.00) Oh, so pricey! I still don't have a Play Arts Shin action figure and I really want to have this in my collection but I have more important stuff that requires my cash. But I definitely recommend this figure if you are already collecting Play Arts Shin action figures. I don't recommend this to those that already have the PAK version, unless you're a fan.

Can confirm that the black thing in the accessory photos is an eyeball adjuster from having the same thing as my Vincent. Unfortunately it took a lot of time to confirm that my figure’s eyes could move. I nearly considered using a screwdriver or having my dad 3D print a new tool since I wasn’t sure if the tool included with the figure was the problem. Thankfully I did get it working! The Vincent has been great, even scaling decently to the other FF7 PAK figures.

Congrats on your Vincent PAS figure! Good thing that you found the eye tool. I read a lot of comments in some groups saying that the Vincent figure is not that good. I want to have it to see what are its issues and Vincent is my fave character in FFVII, but I don't have enough cash to buy action figures. My cash goes to buying important stuff.
