Angelfields Nature Sanctuary

After an hour of driving around Tagaytay looking for a really nice place to hang out, we decided to go to Angelfields Nature Sanctuary. We want that clean air and beautiful view of the mountains.

We planned to go here years ago with my godchildren, but the coof pandemic slapped the world so hard that our planned trips got cancelled. We just remembered this place while looking for places to hang around with our baby daughter.

This is the place. The look of the building reminds me of Galdin Quay, a place in Final Fantasy XV.

The building is named Holy Family Pavilion.

We went inside and theres a way up and a way down. The way down is a spiral hallway that have bible verses on the walls

Here's the emblem of the place. Kinda reminds me of the Nova Corps emblem.

The spiral road have golden fishes on the other side of the wall. The Pavilion is really empty right now. But there are lots of people and kids outside and in the restaurant, Cucina Bernardo where we will eat lunch.

They have nice sculptures inside the building, like this sculpture of the Holy Family being held gently by a huge pair of hands.

Stone Kitchen, this is the place where we gonna have lunch.

After enjoying our lunch at Cucina Bernardo, it's time to go outside and see the nice view of the place and catch that nice afternoon sunshine and clean air.

There are some workers there selling these feeds so that we can feed the animals in the Nature Sanctuary, awesome. It's been a very long time since I fed some fish and chickens. Feeding animals is very therapeutic to me.

There are so many chickens here! These are the hens roaming around the place. I threw some feeds and they rushed to eat them. This is really fun.

These hens are so round and clucks a lot. I really miss having chickens in our backyard. I used to feed my father's chickens after school.

There are other farm animals here, like these two cute sheep. I think this is the first time that I saw sheep up close and they "baa" so loud.

Here are the young brown roosters. They cooped up in a cage. I don't know why? I fed them too with the feeds.

There are many ducks here as well. They're fun to look at because they wiggle their tail when they run around.

Our little baby is so excited that she want to chase these ducks but she's still learning how to stand.

This is the only horse in the place. I'm afraid to get close. I don't want to get kicked by the horse.

There are so many fishes here, especially Tilapia fish. They swarm around after throwing some feeds in the pond.

I can't believe there are tortoises here! Again this is the first time that I saw big tortoises up close. Our baby really love seeing these tortoises. Seeing them brings a huge smile on my daughter as she jumps with excitement.

These are Aldabra tortoises. The largest one (photo above) in this Sanctuary is 11 years old. This is the one I fed with leaves.

There are so many Aldabra tortoises here, these two (photo above) are younger. They're so cute that I want to bring one home, but that's illegal.

Lastly, the rabbits! We saw a huge cage full of rabbits. I used to have a pair of pet white rabbits. I remember their "kinda grassy" smell, I felt like a kid again after seeing a group of white rabbits.

Not just white rabbits, there are rabbits with different colors here. There are brown, gray, black and mixed colors of the three. They're so cute. Our baby daughter loves looking at these rabbits too.

We've seen everything at Angelfields. But there are new areas being developed as we visited the place. We plan to go back there. Maybe our little baby can now walk and run by then. I think going here cured our baby's cold and cough. They say: exposing the baby to farm animals increases resistance to allergies. I guess it worked for our baby daughter.

Cheers!
