[Toy Review] FUBUKI - One Punch Man Espresto

Time to review Tatsumaki's younger sister, Fubuki or Hellish Blizzard. She's a B-class Rank 1 hero that have her own faction of heroes, in the anime/manga series, One Punch Man. This is a Banpresto Espresto shapely figure.

PACKAGING

Box front

The box is windowless. It got a large promo image of Fubuki in front and a smaller one at the side

The back of the box shows the backside of the figure and a smaller partial image at the side.

She also have a simple round black display base.

THE FIGURE

Figure front view

This figure looks nice, but it looks a bit small.

To me, the raised arms gives an impression or optical illusion that this figure is taller.

This figure is almost 9 inches in length.

One Punch Man figures are really limited. This is true for Fubuki. As far as I know, this Espresto figure is her only legit figure. Also this figure is popular. I had a bit difficult time buying her.

Fubuki is really pretty.

She's got a nice pretty face. The eyes and lips are nicely painted. The skin tone is good but a little pale and no shadings.

Fubuki's black hair is nicely sculpted but it doesn't have any highlights.

Nice necklace

She's wearing a necklace that have a lot of pearls or just white beads. But I've seen Fubuki in the series wearing luxurious clothing and have a limo so it must be a pearl necklace.

Fubuki's dark green dress.

Fubuki is wearing a long one piece dress. The dress is dark olive green and have some shadings. The dress is form-fitting, showing her nice curves, it also have some wrinkles for detail. I really don't like the obvious line around her waist. Looks like another piece of the figure that's just glued with the lower part of the figure.

Long flowing dress.

The lower part of the dress looks good. It looks like it's in rotating motion. You can't peek underneath the dress because the dress tightly covers it. But I can feel the top end of the boots and the legs. So yeah I believe that the legs and possibly the undies underneath of the dress are sculpted as well.

The back view of the lower part of the dress shows a little bit of Fubuki's long boots.

Fubuki is wearing a long black heeled boots. It just black with few wrinkles at the knee and ankle area.

I mentioned earlier that Fubuki is popular. I forgot to say that she's even popular than her older sister. She's more popular because she's way more hotter and mature-looking than Tatsumaki. Well both have their own fanbases.

She even have a lot of B-class heroes underlings in her "Blizzard Bunch" faction in the anime/manga.

Now on her pose. It looks like she's about to cast a powerful psychic attack.

Her psychic power is really weak compared to Tatsumaki.

But she's powerful enough that she can easily be an A-class hero. The only thing that holds her back is her inferiority complex with her sister and Amai Mask.

This figure looks good everywhere it's displayed.

SCALING

The Psychic Sisters

Yes, Fubuki is still taller than Tatsumaki but I wish this figure is around 10 inches to make the scaling between these two to be more accurate.

QUALITY ISSUES

This figure doesn't have any quality issues. I only have a minor gripe, like the obvious line on her waist, suggesting that the torso is a separate piece that just glued on the lower part of the figure.

CONCLUSION

Fubuki's Banpresto Espresto figure looks great. I like the pose and this figure looks good everywhere when displayed. It's even better if you have Tatsumaki beside her. This figure is really cheap but a bit more expensive because of its popularity. It also get out of stock quickly. I got this online for $15.00 (approx Php.870.00) shipping included. I recommend that you get this Fubuki figure, especially if you're a fan of the One Punch Man anime/manga series. Because this is the only legit, branded Fubuki figure out there, as far as I know.
