Peacemaker is part of the Suicide Squad (2021) and he got an extreme sense of justice to the point that he will kill anything that can and will disrupt peace. He also got his own series which is fun to watch. I got his McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse action figure in for review.

You can already see the figure and its accessories in front of the windowed box. The packaging doesn't have the CTB (Collect to Build) parts of the King Shark figure. The trade-off is that I got this Peacemaker figure for a cheap price.

THE FIGURE

| Viewing Peacemaker |
This Peacemaker action figure is muscular and bulky, just like the actor, John Cena. It looks great but it lacks paint in some areas and overall shadings.

| The helmet really does look like a toilet seat. |
The face underneath looks like John Cena, but he looks cross-eyed. The face underneath the helmet needs visible eyebrows because he kinda looks sad underneath his "toilet seat" helmet, I mean "beacon of freedom".

The helmet looks good, it's not super chrome like in the movies but it got some gloss. The helmet lacks Peacemaker's emblem in front, bummer. The back of the helmet looks good but it got an exposed back part of the headsculpt and it makes Peacemaker look bald. I guess I should add a little hairsculpt and paint on that part, but I feel lazy doing it.

Peacemaker is wearing a patriotic-colored suit. He's wearing a red short-sleeved top with some blue on the sleeves, sides and chest. It also got silver parts on the traps area. The suit looks nice and textured. It will look even better if shadings are applied.

He also have his emblem on his chest. It's nicely painted.

The back looks simple. It got some seamlines for detail.

| Right arm |
The look of Peacemakers arms are symmetrical. Both arms are huge. The right arm have a faint line on the bicep. It's a flaw but it looks like a vein so it doesn't bother me much.

Both arms have long blue gloves. Both arms lack some shadings.

| The belt lacks the pouches |
The belt looks good, but it's just blue. The buckle needs to be painted silver. The belt also lacks a couple of utility pouches.

The dirty white pants looks good. They're textured and got some wrinkles. The side paddings are painted blue.

| Dark boots |
The black boots looks nice, but lacks some dry paint brushing to make those details pop.

The bottom of the boots aren't treaded. Both boot have peg holes for the display base
ACCESSORIES
This is the weakest point of the Peacemaker action figure. It only got one accessory, that's it, no other extra stuff for Peacemaker to hold to add more play value.

This is Peacemaker's sword. It looks nice, the blade, guard and pommel are silver colored. The grip is painted black. The guard have a nice bird design that fits well with Peacemaker's extreme peace beliefs, creative stuff. The sword is soft, flexible and bendy, they made it that way so that it will not break. But I think this weapon should be made of harder plastic. If you got the other version of the Peacemaker figure without his helmet on, you'll get his axe instead of the sword.

ARTICULATIONS

The toy and articulation design of Peacemaker is similar to the other Suicide Squad (2021) figures.

The head is on a double ball-peg and it got great range of motion. It can look around pretty well. It can look up really high, look down pretty good enough and can tilt side to side for attitude. It exposes a gap at the back when you move and pose the head though.

The shoulders are on a disc swivel hinges. They can fully rotate and raise to the side really well. The disc hinge are ratcheted.

Both arms have bicep swivel. The elbows are double-hinged, they got great bending range, but it looks ugly. The wrists have ball-hinges for articulation. they move well.

The suit is made of soft and flexible plastic, but it's thick making the movement of the upper torso restricted. You can force to pose the chest but it will spring back to normal pose. Side to side movement is pretty good though.

This figure have waist articulation, extending the movement range of the whole torso.

The legs have good range of motion. Both can raise up forward well and a little movement to the back. This figure can do some good kicks, no splits though.

The knees are double-hinged. They got nice bending range and they don't look that bad compared to the elbows.

The boots have ratcheted ball-hinges. They can point up well in two clicks. Pointing down only takes one click. Both boot can pivot and turn side to side.

Also, both boots have toe hinges for more articulation.

QUALITY ISSUES
This Peacemaker action figure is built pretty well. It looks and feels sturdy. This figure doesn't have any issues.
CONCLUSION
Peacemaker's McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse action figure is a pretty good action figure. It got very nice details and the suit is textured. It just lack additional paint job on some parts and overall shading. The articulations is a bit better but I don't like the look of the elbows when fully bent. The downside of this figure is that it only got one weapon, for a character that can use a lot of different weapons with precision and efficiency. Peacemaker is pretty popular now, If you like the movie and his series then get this action figure.
