I never thought this would happen. Square-Enix recently revealed a new Play Arts Kai action figure of Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake, this time she's wearing the "Fighting Dress", A.K.A. Fighter Dress/Sporting Dress/Grappler Dress.
This is one of the dresses you can choose in the game and my least favorite of the three. Still, it looks pretty amazing.
I guess they're going for the "Chun-li" look for Tifa without ripping off entirely the looks of the "thunder thighed" street fighter. Tifa is wearing a purple open chested qipao or cheongsam.
Looks like you can pull of some dynamic poses on this figure which is pretty cool.
Like the other "dress" figure of Tifa. The Fighting Dress version doesn't have any weaponry or equipment. Just an interchangeable faceplate an a total of seven extra hands. The hands are the same as the Blue Dress version has.
This Play Arts Kai action figure of Fighting Dress Tifa costs around $130.00 to $150.00 (about Php.7,400.00 to Php.8,400.00). I think I will pass on this one, I still prefer the Blue Dress and the Exotic Dress (Short kimono). This figure make it possible that there will be an Exotic Dress version soon and a huge sign that SQEX is really milking this specific Fina Fantasy title. Expect other dress versions of Aerith too!
