The official photos of the Play Arts Shin action figure of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are finally here! Let's check it out!
I remember the derpy face controversy of the Tifa FFVII Remake Play Arts Kai figure really well like it just happened yesterday. Anyway, this Play Arts Shin figure of Tifa is definitely an upgrade. I looks really good and there are soft goods like the long socks and probably the skirt.
Wow, the cloth socks really help hide the ugly knee joints of a Play Arts Shin figure. Thumbs up! I can't confirm if the skirt also uses soft goods. SQEX really like to take pictures of their action figures using less light (to hide some imperfections, I guess? hehe...) Looks like this PAS action figure of Tifa is highly poseable.
Maybe it's just me, but the face looks doll-like, kinda lifeless. Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty, but look at that stare. I guess it will look better if there are some good lighting.
Tifa comes with an alternative face sculpt with a serious expression. She also got an interchangeable back hair sculpt. She got a total of six extra hands and nice of SQEX to give her a flower. A nice addition but I prefer to have her cocktail shaker with shot glass set over a flower. I guess the flower fits because this is a Rebirth action figure, not the Remake. She also got the eye adjustment tool.
The price of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Tifa Lockhart Play Arts Shin action figure costs from $150.59 to $250.00 (approx. Php.9,100.00 to Php.15,100.00). Yikes, pretty expensive. If you started collecting Play Arts Shin action figures, then go for this Tifa action figure. As for me, while this new Tifa action figure looks really good. I think I won't be getting this. I'm quite content with my Play Arts Kai Tifa (I might change my mind though).
