So a new Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Play Arts Kai action figure got revealed and it's another version of Zack Fair in his SOLDIER 1st Class uniform.
I expect SQEX will release this version of Zack, but action figure got revealed really late. I know, I know, they made a SOLDIER 2nd Class version of him first but doesn't feel right if this SOLDIER 1st Class version is missing. It's SQEX's business strategy.
This figure looks really good, looks even better than the older version. But the body is the same as the 2nd Class version, just recolored to black, the color of the 1st Class uniform. Zack's face here have serious expression, unlike the smirking older version This PAK figure uses some newer joints especially on the elbows.
This is a highly poseable action figure. Still, some joints look ugly especially the elbows. I wish they make them look better.
1st Class SOLDIER Zack comes with pretty much basic accessories. He got the Buster Sword, a peg for mounting the sword on his back and a total of six extra hands. The accessory amount is almost similar to the 2nd Class version except that one got additional broken blade. Hey, if you have the 2nd class Zack, then you can swap the heads of both versions and you get Zack in his last looks before fighting Angeal.
This Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion Play Arts Kai action figure of Zack (SOLDIER 1st Class) costs around $140.00 to $152.00 (approx. Php.7,500.00 to Php.8,200.00). This one's a bit cheaper than the 2nd Class version, because it's just a repaint but with different sword and headsculpt. Now I have a conundrum, should I get the 2nd Class version or this 1st Class version? Well, I don't know, I guess I'll get both??? We'll just see...
